amateur-necromancy asked: I'm curious as to what you thought about The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer, you mentioned you were reading it and then never said anything again. Because I have mixed feelings, but I'm also not a 16 year old girl and I'd like to hear what you thought!

When Lauren asked if I had heard of this book I said no.  She said that I should read it so we could talk about it.  I recently got it from the library and read it.  I should note that anyone unfamiliar with this book is that it’s YA fiction.  It was an easy and fast read and I liked the first 2/3rds of the book, but then it switched from a kinda mysterious YA fiction story to some weird paranormal teen romance.  It was at this switch when the story just lost all credibility (I know).  This is also apparently part of a series (trilogies are so hotttt!) that I probably won’t continue to read.
