I made some wonton soup for lunch today.
Bring chicken (or vegetable broth) to a boil, add frozen wontons (or whatever kind you have) and heat for 1-2 minutes. Add baby bok choy, cilantro, green onion, one bay leaf (remove when done), few sprinkles of dried thyme, a couple slices of jalapeno, and salt & pepper to taste.
Between a birthday breakfast and a birthday dinner we went sledding.
Today Jasper turned 10. I can’t believe I have a ten year old.

We went to see the LEGO Movie (which was so great) & had Jasper’s 10th Birthday party today (his actual birthday is Thursday).
Sitting inside with my boyfriend & cat drinking/smoking and thinking about how tired I am of the snow.
We woke up so early this morning it was still dark out & I am still awake.
Tonight was the annual Folkins family gingerbread competition. Our theme this year was the four seasons. My team worked on Summer.
